White (Jade) Cypress - Essential oil of Callitris columellaris/glaucophylla:
description & uses

A spicy, woody essential oil reminiscent of the best Himalayan Cedarwood. Australian White Cypress, also called Jade Cypress and Cypress Pine, is distilled from the species Callitris columellaris, also known as Callitris glaucophylla.
Please note: this essential oil has a low flash point and is therefore classified as DG.

Steam distillation from the leaves and twigs of Callitris columellaris/glaucophylla.

Alpha-pinene, myrcene, limonene.

Warm woody/spicy scent.

Main uses

Comments

Good blending oil for anchoring more elusive scents. In Aboriginal pharmacopoeia, leaves and twigs of Callitris columellaris/glaucophylla are used in fumigations to treat colds and sores.
