Like with Eucalyptus dives (Peppermint gum), the biggest world producer of Lemon gum (Eucalyptus citriodora) is China. We only offer top quality, Australian grown Eucalyptus citriodora.

Place of origin: Australia (Queensland)

Production method: Steam distillation from the aerial parts of Eucalyptus citriodora.

Main components: Citronellal, citronellol, isopulegol.

Aroma: Distinctive "citronella" scent.

Main uses: Perfumery, aromatherapy, cosmetics.

Comments: Lemon gum is extensively used in aromatherapy for its antiseptic, antifungal, analgesic and sedative properties. In cosmetics, it is particularly appreciated as a potent deodorant and insecticide.

Safety notes: Since citronellal is said to be a powerful skin irritant, always use diluted in direct skin applications.

1 part rosalina, 2 parts rose geranium, 1 part lemon gum

3 parts lemon gum, 1 part Eucalyptus radiata, 1 part patchouli (insect repelling blend)
3 parts niaouli, 2 parts lemon gum, 1 part lemon-myrtle
3 parts rosalina, 1 part lemon gum, 1 part blue cypress
1 part lemon gum, 1 part peppermint gum, 1 part eucalyptus
